			<description><![CDATA[Here&#039;s the first bit of work on the commission for City of Belmont, I&#039;ll let this dry a bit and probably rework the clouds a little<br /><br /><img src="images/belprog1.jpg" width="449" height="291" border="0" alt="" /><br /><br />The Belgian linen that I double primed with oil-prime is a really great surface to paint on, this one&#039;s gonna be fun.<br /><br />I also started the progress video but that&#039;ll take a while longer to put online !]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Time to clean the studio now and get stuck into the last few commissions for the year. <br />Some time soon I&#039;m going to be starting a new body of work, something completely different to my normal stuff, ofcourse it&#039;ll all get posted here as things progress<br /><br />In the meantime I&#039;ve gone and put some of my Limited Edition Prints up on ebay at auction, to both see how they go and maybe drive some traffic back here.<br />Worth a shot I suppose<br /><br />I&#039;m not linking to it here, youve gotta go hunt for them !]]></description>

			<title>Solo show at emerge Art Space</title>

			<description><![CDATA[&#039;IF NOT FOR THE DAWN&#039;<br />19th Oct - 4th Nov 2011<br /><br /><img src="images/b1.jpg" width="280" height="387" border="0" alt="" /><br /><br />All the works for my latest solo show at <a href="http://www.emerge-art.com.au/october_19th_-_november_4th_2011" target="_blank" >emerge ART SPACE</a>, 676A Beaufort St, Mt Lawley, are now in the gallery and up on their website :<br /><br /><a href="http://www.emerge-art.com.au/october_19th_-_november_4th_2011" target="_blank" >emerge ART SPACE</a><br /><br />the show opens on wednesday the 19th of october at 6:00, and as always work is available for preview and sale prior to the opening<br /><br />They look amazing now that I&#039;ve varnished them all and they&#039;re somewhere other than in my studio, it&#039;s always fun to see how different they look once they&#039;re in a proper gallery environment.<br /><br />There&#039;s 18 works in total, carrying on from last years subject matter of abandoned carparks and alleyways, with some new vague misty nightscapes and recognizable Mt Lawley views<br /><br />The show runs till Friday the 4th of November]]></description>

			<title>Three more for today !</title>

			<description><![CDATA[Today I pretty much finished the last of the works for the solo show at <a href="http://www.emerge-art.com.au/october_19th_-_november_4th_2011" target="_blank" >emerge ART SPACE</a> in Mount Lawley, that&#039;s coming up on the 19th of October - now I need to spend a week painting edges, varnishing and putting on hangers <br /><br />still in the mood for painting I had a go at a few more little ones of the tools I collect at sunday swap meets, here&#039;s a wire cutter, a ball-peen hammer and 3 small files :<br /><br /><img src="images/cutters.jpg" width="325" height="430" border="0" alt="" /><br /><br /><img src="images/ballpeen.jpg" width="260" height="448" border="0" alt="" /><br /><br /><img src="images/files.jpg" width="392" height="522" border="0" alt="" /><br /><br />All the same palette as the previous one of the secateurs, took around half an hour each<br /><br />Once they&#039;re framed up I&#039;ll have them on display at my annual Back Garden Art Show ( details will be up here for that soon - once I&#039;ve got the solo show stuff out the way ), and I&#039;ll put them up in the <a href="http://bensherar.com/store/" target="_blank" >store</a> section aswell]]></description>
